“ Get the Refund you Need ”
Kenn Rieders, MBA/ACC, C.T.E.C. R.T.P.
How did I get all these letters after my name? MBA/ACC = Masters in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Phoenix 2006. C.T.E.C. R.T.P. = California Tax Education Council, Registered Tax Preparer which is issued annually to conform to California Business and Professional Code requiring initial experience to register and annual continuing education hours. All this qualifies me to prepare your taxes and represent my clients in front of the Internal Revenue Service and the California Franchise Tax Board.
My father, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), noticed my ability to work with and my liking of numbers. At the age of five, he would bring his clients’ bank statements home for me to numerically arrange the cancelled checks for easier statement reconciliation. As soon as I was tall enough, I started working in his office Xeroxing tax returns and filing. By the age of thirteen, I double checked the calculations and insured all schedules were present then assembled tax returns.
After high school graduation I went off to college to become a doctor. I became distracted and ended up following my second occupational dream, Film and Television Production. I finally obtain a Bachelors of Arts (BA) from California State University, Northridge in 1984. I worked in the Television/Film Industry for eleven years; most of the job positions involved the use of numbers. I started preparing Individual’s tax returns in 1980.
I am not all numbers. I am a Christian, devoted husband and father of six. I enjoy riding my mountain bicycle, cooking, reading, going to Maui HI, and Suduko (Oh ya, that is numbers). My wife also noticed my love for numbers. She calls numbers my “candy”, so I decided to seek a career in Accounting and Tax Preparation because I believe one should love to work and look forward daily to an occupation. Let me take care of your number. I truly enjoy doing this kind of work.
